Availability of space-
1) Plots falling within village limits under Gram Panchayat and plots approved by competent planning authority for residential purpose outside village limits.
2) Government/Government Vacancies made available by Collector or Govt.
3) Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural, 25 sq.m gharkula can be constructed. In addition, for other basic facilities, assuming the floor space of the house, generally up to 500 sq. feet of space per beneficiary has been approved.
4) If the area of the actual premises is up to 500 sq.ft per beneficiary, financial assistance will be given to the beneficiaries on the cost of the actual premises or Rs.1,00,000/- whichever is less.
5) If the price of the land is more than Rs.1,00,000/- and the beneficiary is ready to pay the amount himself, he will be given the benefit of this scheme.
