    Birsa Munda Agricultural Revolution Scheme

    About Scheme : To raise the standard of living of Scheduled Tribe farmers in the district by increasing their income and making them self-sufficient.

    Beneficiary:

    The eligibility conditions for beneficiaries to avail the benefits of the scheme under the Tribal Upgrading Scheme (In-Area / Out-Area) will be as follows.

    1. The beneficiary should be a Scheduled Tribe farmer.
    2. The farmer should have a caste certificate issued by the competent authority.
    3. The farmer should have a 7/12 certificate of land tenure, 8-A copy in his name.
    4. The beneficiary should have an Aadhaar card.
    5. The beneficiary should have a bank account and the bank account should be linked to the Aadhaar card.
    6. Beneficiaries below the poverty line will be given first priority.
    7. The condition of annual income limit of Rs. 1,50,000/- applicable to the beneficiaries of the said scheme is being abolished. The beneficiary farmer will be required to have a minimum of 0.40 hectare and a maximum of 6 hectares of agricultural land. However, since the land of tribal beneficiaries is in remote and fragmented areas, if two or more beneficiaries with land holdings less than 0.40 hectares come together, if their combined land is at least 0.40 hectares, they will be allowed to benefit from the scheme if they sign an agreement. Similarly, the condition of maximum 6.0 hectares of holding area will not be applicable to beneficiaries below the poverty line.
    8. The priority order of beneficiary selection will be as follows.
      • Beneficiaries below the poverty line
      • Tribal beneficiaries
      • Individual forest lease holders

    9. Once the full benefit of the relevant scheme is taken, the benefit of this scheme will not be payable to the same beneficiary or family for the next five years.

    10. If the benefit has been given from the tribal development scheme of the same nature for agricultural development scheme as well as from the scheme implemented from              the funds made available under the SCA of the Central Government and Article 275 (A) of the Constitution, the benefit given under this scheme will not be admissible.

    11.  A note will be made in the 7/12th statement of the beneficiaries who have taken advantage of the said scheme.

    Under Per Drop Plus Crop Scheme (1) 55% for small/very small landholders from Mukhyamantri Shashwat Irrigation Yojana 25% from Birsa Munda Krishi Kranti Yojana 10% and (2) 45% for large landholders from Mukhyamantri Shashwat Irrigation Yojana 30% from Birsa Munda Krishi Kranti Yojana 15% or Rs. 97,000/- whichever is less
