Vision & Mission –

• To manage and supervise the financial transactions of zilla parishad as per the Maharashtra Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti Act 1961 and Maharashtra Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samit Account Code 1968 as well as in accordance with the directives issued by Government of Maharashtra from time to time.
• To manage Accounting, Auditing and budget related work of the Zilla Parishad.

Objectives & Functions :-

• To Give financial advice to the CEO of Zilla Parishad in financial matters.
• To undertake pre-audit of files and bills of various department heads before actual expenditure.
• To prepare accounts of funds under the control of Zilla Parishad.
• To carry out internal audit of various departments of Zilla Parishad and offices of Panchayat Samitis.
