Pesa 5% Untied funds to Gram Panchayats in Scheduled Areas of the State .

• Independent authority to decide the utilization of funds has been given to the Gram Sabha. For this, the Gram Sabha has to prepare the annual planning plan of the restricted fund and it has to be approved in the Gram Sabha. While preparing the plan, it is necessary to consider the people of each village / pada coming under the area of Gram Panchayat. After that, the plan of the Gram Panchayat has to be consolidated in the Gram Sabha with the consensus of all. a) Infrastructure 1. Gram Panchayat Offices, Health Centres, Anganwadis, Schools, Burial Grounds, Godavons, Village Internal Roads and similar infrastructure in the concerned Pesa village. b) Implementation of Forest Rights Act and PESA Act 1. Tribals for their livelihood Conducting training/guidance through training center regarding business. 2. Village development or fish farming business/ buying fish seed. 3. To develop common lands. 4. Management of subordinate water bodies. 5. Developing common natural resources and common property. C) Health, Sanitation, Education 1. Construction of public toilets 2. Maintaining cleanliness in the village. 3. Construction and maintenance of drains for sewage system. 4. Providing clean drinking water. d) Afforestation, wildlife conservation, water conservation, forest floor, wildlife tourism and forest livelihoods. |
Gram sabha to select the work means that work should be considered as administrative approval of gram sabha. Gram Sabha selected Rs. No separate technical approval shall be required for works worth less than 3 lakhs and Rs. The procedure for obtaining technical approval for work costing more than 3 lakhs shall be as per clause- 4 ( 6 ).
* Also , in relation to the expenditure on Pesa 5 % fund B and B , the declarations have been issued as per the government decision dated 20/02/2016 from the tribal department.
Rule 4(1)(e) of Forest Rights Recognition Act 2006 , 2008 Committees have been established for 822 villages in Palghar district .
