Providing two wheeler cycles to school going girls

The nature of the scheme	Two wheeler cycle scheme will be provided to the girl students in rural and remote areas whose distance from their residence to school is at least 2 km.
Objective of the scheme	School going girls from economically weaker families should be able to reach school on time, they should get enough time to study, they should be encouraged for education.
Beneficiaries of the scheme	etc. Girls studying in 5th to 12th standard.
Nature of benefit	To buy two wheeler cycle for school going girls after deducting 10 percent beneficiary share and paying the amount approved in the purchase committee meeting to the concerned beneficiary’s bank account.
Eligibility criteria	Preference will be given to girls from rural and remote areas whose distance from their residence to the school is at least 2 km. 1 km after the end of the beneficiary as per No.1. Benefit will be given to the students of distance more than etc. Girls studying in 5th to 12th standard.
Necessary documents	Completed application form, Aadhaar card, proof of local resident (eg ration card), poverty line number and certificate or income certificate of Tehsildar, copy of gram sabha resolution if in tribal area, copy of back account passbook
