Under the Soil and Water Conservation Department, Government Decision No.Jashia-2022/P.No.302/Jal-7 dated 03.01.2023, Shiwar Abhiyan was implemented under Jalyukta Shiwar and village wise plan was prepared. After that, the said scheme has received administrative approval orders from Jalyukta Shivar Abhiyan 2.0 and District Water Conservation Officer Soil and Water Conservation Division Kalwa Thane dated 18.1.2024, 01.02.2024 and 02.02.2024. Accordingly, a total of 63 work orders have been given in Palghar district. In this work, well renewal works have been undertaken mainly by the Rural Water Supply Department. Through this work, the water storage capacity of villages and suburbs will increase.
